Reload lanes at PLUS toll plazas to be closed during festive season

Traffic Jam PLUS LLM

PLUS Malaysia Berhad (“PLUS”) has announced that all toll plaza Reload Lanes on PLUS-operated highways will be closed for the upcoming Christmas and New Year 2019 festive season. This is to facilitate smoother traffic flow and prevent expected traffic congestion as Malaysians travel back for the holidays.

All 97 Reload Lanes at PLUS Highway toll plazas will be closed to the public starting 21 December 2018 to 2 January 2019.

Do ensure that your PLUSMiles or Touch ‘n Go cards have been reloaded and have sufficient balance at all times during this festive season.

As an alternative, users can also use their MyKad to pay for toll charges on the highway. Every MyKad is equipped with a Touch ‘n Go chip.

PLUS says users can also reload their electronic cards at 10,000 reload touch points across the country including ATM machines, 24-hour convenient stores, petrol stations, and more.

Users can also top-up their PLUSMiles and Touch ‘n Go cards at any 66 Self-Service Kiosks (SSK) at selected rest areas and toll plazas along the highway.

Check the locations of these SSKs via the PLUS Mobile Application and Touch ‘n Go portal.

Reload services are also available at PLUS customer service centres at selected toll plazas operating between 7.00AM and 10.00PM daily (including Saturday, Sunday and Public Holiday).

PLUS also added that there will be no lane closures for road maintenance on the highways to facilitate smoother traffic flow during the upcoming festive season. However, some lane closures may still need to be carried out for urgent pavement repair works for safety reasons.
