Studies show that knowledge workers are interrupted every 10 minutes. And it takes 23 minutes to return back to a productive state. This is where the new Jabra Evolve headset comes in to boost focus and productivity by creating a complete personal concentration zone specifically in open, loud and distracting workspaces.

The business-skewed series comprises five headsets that offer an assortment of features and benefits – 20, 30, 40, 65 and 80.

All are purpose-built to shut out noise in the open office, and also includes a feature that signals when a user doesn’t want to be disturbed.

Renowned for its industrial design, Jabra has cleverly made the microphone boom arm stow-able into the headband.

The new series also has a busy light integrated into the headphones that signals your availability to your colleagues.

When not used for work, the new headsets also provide high-end sound quality for entertainment.

Initial thoughts

I was impressed with the UC headsets, especially the top-of-the-line Evolve 80 which I thought was exquisitely built and had exceptional audio quality. The active noise cancellation gives you that personal space you need for uninterrupted work. The foam padding makes the headset comfortable to wear for long periods of time.

Look out for a review of the flagship Evolve 80 soon.
