The proliferation of mobile phones has also seen the rise of portable audio devices. Portable wireless speakers are quickly becoming common, for those who prefer to ‘share’ their music. With that, Sony has introduced h.ear go, its Hi-Res Audio portable wireless speaker–the world’s smallest, in fact.

The compact h.ear go packs powerful audio, attributed to its newly-designed 35mm diameter Hi-Resolution full-range speaker unit. It weighs just 790g, and measures 204 x 62 x 60mm.

The left and right channel speaker chambers are complemented by dual passive radiators, extending low-end response. Thus, if you’re a bass lover, you’ll enjoy EXTRA BASS from this deceivingly small speaker.

Will Google Cast and Spotify Connect support, you’ll get to stream your favourite music effortlessly from your smartphone.

What’s great is its massive 12-hour battery life, handy if you’re on the move and don’t have a power source.

Bluetooth 4.0 (A2DP, AVRCP, SPP, HFP) and One-touch listening via NFC are standard feature, so are USB-B and Audio-In wired connections.

Once you’re home, you can easily integrate the h.ear go into a multi-room set-up, or if you wish use it as a standalone speaker. Sony’s SongPal app helps you setup and manage Multi-Room compatibility.

On that note, you’ll be able to link two h.ear go units for a wireless stereo speaker system, or use it to boost your home cinema set-up.
