Caltex Havoline launches Havoline autoPro Workshop programme

Chevron Malaysia Limited, which operates the Caltex brand in Malaysia, officially launched its Caltex Havoline autoPro workshop programme. The programme aims to give further assurance to customers with a branded store customer experience.

The programme is tailored for quick-lube automotive business partners looking to expand their businesses and gain credibility as a preferred operator. First of its partner workshops is Osaka Service Centre in Kajang, and also Kian Ann Car Service Centre in Setapak. Kian Ann Car Service Centre is one of the earliest partner workshops to collaborate with Caltex. The workshop has worked with the brand for more than 30 years, now helmed by a second-generation owner. Caltex targets to onboard 20 partner workshops in the Klang Valley by end of the year.

The Caltex Havoline autoPro workshop programme is based on five key pillars, designed to serve and deliver the most effective results and enhance the capabilities of partner workshops.

The programme offers flexible entry criteria for prospective workshop partners, with lower volume target, and shorter-term commitments. It also encompasses training, incentives, and business development funds, as well as refreshed image standards.

Partners workshops are qualified by the scale of Caltex products sold, among other criteria. Top workshops will receive full Caltex Havoline autoPro branding and programme offerings.

At the launch, Najam Shamsuddin, area business manager, AP cluster, Chevron Lubricants said, “We are proud and excited to bring more value to our business partners and end users through the Caltex Havoline autoPro workshop programme. Our fuels and lubricants have been proven throughout the years as products that meet and exceed customers’ expectations. Now, we are embarking on a journey to build a strong brand image for our partner workshops without the franchisee or royalty fees while gaining the expertise and resources to grow and protect their businesses.”

“The success of our partner workshops are vital to us at Caltex. Both Osaga Service Centre and Kian Ann Car Service Centre are just some of the multi-generational businesses that demonstrate the efficacy of our collaborations. With the new Caltex Havoline autoPro workshop programme, partner workshops can be assured that they continuously provide customers with quality products and services,” he added.

To celebrate the launch of the programme, Caltex is running a special promotion for the first 100 customers who register to get their car serviced at Osaga Service Centre, starting 29 July 2019.

The first 50 customers who register will receive FREE labour charge for basic oil change and Techron Concentrate Plus worth MYR100. Subsequent 50 customers stand to receive FREE labour charge for basic oil change worth MYR50.
