Tech community, take note. It’s not Oppa Gangnam Style-related, but Oppo, a Chinese company that has been rolling out “special” phone features for Android smartphones. Welcome to Oppa 5, the phone that could be a competitor to major smartphone brands.

The Chinese company’s CEO, Chen Minyong, said on CNMO.com that the Oppo 5 smartphone will come with a 5-inch 1080p (1920×1080 resolution) screen, which will push the pixel density to an amazing 441 pixels per inch (PPI), easily beating phones like iPhone 5‘s  326PPI and Nokia Lumia 920‘s 331PPI.

The phone will also feature Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS and the quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 processor, the same ARM chips found in popular mobile devices like Samsung Galaxy S III and HTC One S.

Other rumours report that it will come with a 2MP front camera, 12MP rear camera and a huge 2,500mAh battery, 2GB RAM and in either 16GB or 32GB storage options.

Question here is this – who manufactures the display, since Samsung has the tech to produce the Retina Display and also its own famed Super AMOLED HD displays? Is this for real?

Pricing and availability is not available, however this does send some  shockwaves down major phone manufacturers way with these impressive specs.
