[CES 2017] BMW Group, Intel and Mobileye will have autonomous test vehicle fleet on roads by 2H 2017

 

Autonomous vehicle technologies continue to be a key focus at CES 2017. BMW Group, Intel and Mobileye has just announced today that a fleet of about 40 autonomous BMW vehicles will be on the roads by the second half of 2016. At a joint press conference earlier this morning, the companies revealed that the BMW 7 series will incorporate cutting-edge Intel and Mobileye technologies. Global trials will start in US and Europe.

In true blue Lenovo style, the leading PC (and post-PC) brand kicked off CES 2017 with a plethora of new products to demonstrate “different innovates better.” With its continued focus on innovation and product design, Lenovo rolled out the latest ThinkPad X1 family; Miix 720 2-in-1; new gaming sub-brand Lenovo Legion; and Lenovo Smart Assistant with Amazon Alexa. Additionally, it also introduced the Lenovo Smart Storage and Lenovo 500 Multimedia Controller; and smartphone AR and VR experiences with Lenovo Phab 2 Pro apps.
