In just one year, OPPO has grabbed 10% of the Malaysian smartphone marketshare, making it one of the top three smartphone brands in the country.

Both the R7 Plus and R7 Lite are beautifully carved devices, featuring a full metal unibody with chamfered edges. The R7 Plus proudly measures just 7.75mm thin despite its 6-inch frame, while its smaller sibling measures 6.3mm thin.

What’s really cool is the new dual-drive hybrid focus system that includes laser focus, anti-shake optimisation, Contrast Phase Autofocus and new Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF). Never mind the jargon. All it means is rapid launch, fast focus and stable, sharp images.

The R7 Plus packs a huge 4,100mAh battery while the R7 Lite gets 2,320mAh. Both feature the famed VOOC Flash Charging system, the fastest rapid charging technology available today. In just 30 minutes, you can get your R7 up to 75% charge.

With the introduction of the R7 Lite, it is expected that OPPO will drop the price of the mid-range OPPO R1x which is now a more expensive, and a less value buy.
