Get MYR999 off a second Galaxy Note9

Galaxy Note9

Samsung’s latest and greatest flagship Galaxy Note9 officially goes on sale nationwide today after its launch last week. If you didn’t pre-order a unit, Samsung still has some goodies in store for you if you purchase a unit (or two) during its nationwide roadshows happening from 24-26 August 2018.

Let me tell you they’re rather mouth-watering. Firstly, you stand to receive goodies worth over MYR500 comprising Samsung Screen Protection (RRP: MYR140), Wireless Charging Pad (RRP: MYR279) and Selfie Stick (RRP: MYR156). To top it off, you’ll also have a chance to pick up a second unit of Galaxy Note9 for MYR999 off.

The Galaxy Note9 nationwide roadshow happens at five locations including KLCC, Queensbay Mall in Penang, AEON Tebrau City in Johor Bahru, East Coast Mall in Kuantan and Suria Sabah in Kota Kinabalu.

There are two options of goodies to consider. Option 1 is the Screen Protection, Wireless Charging Pad and Selfie Stick combo with the MYR999 rebate on the second unit, or Option 2 with the standalone goodies bundle.

Note that the freebies and rebate on the second unit are limited depending on location. For instance, KLCC will have 420 units of the Option 1 bundle, but if you’re in Penang, the number is limited to 200. Read the T&C here.

In addition to that, there’s a special Purchase-with-Purchase (PWP) promo for accessories where you can get MYR100 off the new Wireless Charger Duo (RRP: MYR389), MYR50 off the LED Cover (RRP: MYR229), Leather Wallet Cover (RRP: MYR209), and MYR40 off the Silicon Cover (RRP: MYR89).

As usual, Samsung is also offering a trade-in, trade-up promo where you can get up to MYR3,200 in rebate value to subsidise for your Galaxy Note9 purchase. If you’re upgrading from a Galaxy Note8, you’ll get a value of up to MYR1,950. If you’re one of the switchers and moving up from an iPhone X for example, you stand to get up to MYR3,200 (256GB version). Check out the full list of supported devices here.

As you may know, the Galaxy Note9 comes in two configurations: 6GB RAM + 128GB storage for MYR3,699 and 8GB RAM + 512GB storage for MYR4,599. The aggressively priced flagship feature a larger 6.4-inch QuadHD+ Infinity Display and is powered by the familiar Exynos 9810 (Snapdragon 845 in the US) processor with Adreno 630 graphics.

The S Pen gets some killer new features thanks to Bluetooth connectivity.

The new Galaxy Note9 now also has a bigger 4,000mAh battery that fast charges via USB Type-C.
