HP are smart to tie them into the ExpertOne training program – the more reasons to encourage businesses to send their staff on these schemes, the better for HP. I also really like how they offered anyone with accredited certification, from Cisco and other venders, a fast track option so they wouldn’t have to redo elementary training that is far below their current level… again a great way to make their training more attractive and reduce the time spent out of the office.

I’ll be honest, I think this HP certification has pulled so far ahead of any other industry recognised certification, that it’s going to be very difficult for anyone to catch up. HP has positioned themselves as the gold standard of qualification and training for systems engineers and I don’t see them losing that mantel anytime soon.
