AMD Catalyst™ 12.6 (WHQL)

The AMD Catalyst™ 12.6 (WHQL) driver resolves most of the issues that the AMD Radeon series have. This update also includes support for older cards and newer ones as well. The update provides a number of fixes and enhancements that would have been deployed over several releases with their old schedule of driver updates. Bug reporting and other contributing reports are easier using the AMD Issue Reporting Form through this new driver update.

AMD Catalyst™ 12.7 (Beta)

The AMD Catalyst™ 12.7 (Beta) drivers provides an upgrade on performance for their AMD Radeon products. The drivers further improve games like Batman: Arkham City, Skyrim and Dirt 3 in terms of their performance and speed of GPU Launch Drives. There is also an improvement in using certain settings for other games like Diablo 3 and Crysis 2. Overall, this driver is made to make your games load faster, look better and reduce lag during gameplay.

Other Improvements

They have also provided some information on improvements for Adobe products like Photoshop CS 6, Adobe Illustrator CS 6. The drivers also provide new profiles for the latest games and also a Direct X-9 application profile for the AMD 7000 series products. They have also resolved issues using these drivers for AMD Crossfire.

Well, if you haven’t updated your AMD Radeon product drivers, now would be an awesome time to do it.
