OPPO A77, now in chic Black

OPPO A77

Expanding from its Rose Gold and Gold colour options, the OPPO A77 is now available in Black. The camera-focused device features the same sleek, chic design found on the OPPO A37 (MYR598) and OPPO A57 (MYR1,098).

It’s no surprise that the OPPO A77 packs a massive 16MP f/2.0 selfie camera, keeping to OPPO’s selfie- and camera-focused DNA. Naturally, it comes with OPPO’s famed Beautify 4.0 software with Bokeh Effect, ensuring perfect selfies at all times. It even comes with a Palm Shutter, where you can activate an automatic shutter countdown with your palm.

The rear isn’t too shabby either, featuring a 13MP f/2.2 shooter with PDAF, anti-shake and LED flash. The camera specs, in fact, is similar to the higher-rung OPPO F Series.

The sleek all-metal design is synonymous with OPPO’s popular devices, now in chic Black. It measures just 7.3mm in thickness, and tips the scales at a scant 153g.

The device is equipped with a 5.5-inch FHD In-cell display, and also a superfast fingerprint scanner built into the home button.

Under the hood, it gets an octa-core MediaTek MT6750T processor (rated at 1.5GHz) coupled with a generous 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Storage is upgradeable up to 128GB via microSD.

It has everything you need out-of-the-box, including Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS and OTG.

The dual-SIM 4G LTE device boasts a large 3,200mAh that charges up via micro-USB 2.0. Unfortunately there’s no fast-charging, but that’s something expected for a product at this price point.

The OPPO A77 runs ColorOS 3.0, based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
