Alongside the wallet-friendly Acer Aspire VX 15 gaming notebook and Aspire GX781 desktop PC, Acer also introduced two gaming monitors – the 24.5-inch KG251Q and 27-inch KG271.

The new gaming displays are Acer’s very first monitors with 75Hz refresh rate. Both support HDMI on FreeSync, so if you have an AMD FreeSync compatible card, you’ll enjoy tear-free gaming and optimal latency. The monitors also feature Adaptive-Sync, which delivers fluid, smooth visuals no matter the type of game.

The 24.5-inch and 27-inch monitors boast Full HD resolution, based on a TN panel that also delivers a 100,000,000:1 contrast ratio.

Ghosting is left to a minimum thanks to the ultra fast 1ms GTG response time. Black Boost helps to boost detail in dark environments.

Impressively, even for budget monitors, the KG251Q and KG271 boast ZeroFrame, near bezel-less design. This allows for a seamless three-monitor setup.

The monitors have a unique three-prong glossy black stand design, and also includes VESA mount support. The stand supports -5-degrees to 15-degrees tilt adjustment.

In terms of colour management, the monitors come with a unique 6-axis colour adjustment – great for creative pros.

Other handy built-in technologies include Acer VisionCare that incorporates Flicker-less, Blue Light Filter, ComfyView and Low Dimming that protects the eyes, and offers a comfortable viewing experience.
