Acer Aspire VX 15 offers gaming power on a budget

Acer Aspire VX 15

Acer continues its gaming push, this time in the entry-level, budget segment. So, no Predator logo emblazoned on its chest, but still a gaming-focused product nonetheless. The new gaming device in question – the Acer Aspire VX 15 gaming notebook.

If you remember, pre-Predator days, Acer had quite a performer in the Acer Aspire V Nitro Black Edition. Well, think of the VX 15 as a successor to that. It continues to offer a similar preposition – exceptional gaming performance at an accessible price point.

What’s different though, is the VX 15’s purposeful, edgy design, not seen on previous entry-level gaming notebooks. It has an aggressive red chassis with edgy lines throughout.

Under the hood, it doesn’t skimp on hardware – you’ll get a 7th Gen Intel Core i7 HQ processor, 4GB of DDR4 RAM (upgradeable to 32GB), and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti GPU with GDDR5 VRAM. Storage is provided with a conventional 1TB HDD.

Acer’s proud of its dual fan cooling system that ensures the notebook runs cool when playing even the most demanding games.

There’s also high-definition audio with Acer TrueHarmony speakers, and Dolby Audio Premium.

Finally, the VX 15 features a crisp 15.6-inch Full HD IPS screen.
