Find the Yes Man comes to an end, grand finale winner rakes MYR10,000 cash

Find the Yes Man Grand Finale Winner

The four-week hunt for the stealthy Yes Man has come to an end on Sunday, 11 December, with the grand finale happening at The Curve Shopping Mall. The “Find The Yes Man” contest organized by Yes has been dubbed the most rewarding mystery manhunt in Malaysia. It has seen throngs of Malaysians all over the country out searching for the mystery man, and not catching Pokemons for a change.

For the past four weeks, Malaysians have been diligently following daily clues posted on Yes’ Facebook page. Not one to stand still, the Yes Man has been spotted and caught all the way up north in Perlis; in the cool of Genting Highlands; down south in Johor Bahru; and even in the Land Below the Wind – Sabah.

To win, you’ll need to be quick thinking to solve clues and also be prepared to brave heavy traffic, tropical heat and monsoon rain (we are in Malaysia anyways).

Working towards the Grand Finale, there were daily prizes of MYR500 (14 November-27 November); increasing up to MYR1,000 (28 November – 10 December). For Yes subscribers, these figures are doubled to MYR1,000 and MYR2,000 respectively. On days the slippery Yes Man wasn’t found for the day, the cash prizes snowballed to the next day.

At the Grand Finale, the hunt intensified with three new challenges. Participants had to dig deep and depend on their wits and tenacity to complete all challenges. In the end, Samuel Choi Hoe Seng correctly identified and uttered the line “Are you the Yes Man?” to the elusive Yes Man to take home the grand prize. The Yes Man was found at “I love KL” location. And because Samuel is a Yes subscriber, his cash prize is doubled to MYR10,000. Incidentally, Samuel was also one of the daily prize winners.
