Lenovo introduces latest Yoga 910 convertible and Yoga Tab 3 Plus tablet

Lenovo Yoga 910

At its global launch in IFA 2016 Berlin, Lenovo has just taken the wraps off several new multimode Yoga products including the new Yoga 910 convertible notebook and Yoga Tab 3 Plus Android tablet. The Yoga 910 is the world’s thinnest Intel Core I convertible, while the Tab 3 Plus continues to deliver ultimate flexibility and portability.

Yoga 910 – world’s thinnest

Here’s the skinny on the new Yoga 910. It’s ultra thin. At just 14.3mm it’s the world’s thinnest yet one of the most powerful convertibles around. Under the hood it rocks the latest 7th Gen Core i7 processor.

You get a choice of a new 4K or Full HD screen and you’ll notice the near edgeless display (just 5mm bezel). Thanks to the almost non-existent bezel, it offers 10% more screen area, a 14% increase in pixel density and sharper, clearer images. It also offers 100% sRGB colour gamut coverage so expect your images and videos to pop.

In the audio department, the Yoga 910 doesn’t disappoint either, coming with Dolby Audio Premium.

Something new to the Yoga convertible is an advanced fingerprint reader. It’s brings fast and secure access to your PC using Windows Hello. Goodbye, passwords.

Goodbye also to the polycarbonate body of the old. The new Yoga 910 comes with an all-new, all-metal unibody – in Champagne Gold, Platinum Silver and Gunmetal. It looks and feels absolutely premium. Gunmetal gets my voice, btw.

Making a return is the critically-acclaimed watchband hinge, now even smoother and more accurate than before. An optional Yoga mouse can double as a remote control.

The Yoga 910 uses a USB Type-C for charging, and the battery keeps it juiced for up to 15.5 hours. Impressive.

Yoga Tab 3 Plus

This is the latest addition to the Yoga Tab 3 Plus series bringing you complete cinematic entertainment experience. If you love binge watching videos on your tablet, then the Yoga Tab 3 Plus’ 10.1-inch 2K display with Technicolor Color Enhance and Dolby Atmos will keep you happy. Expect immersive audio with the four front-facing JBL speakers.

Like its Tab 3 series siblings, it’s powered by an Intel Atom processor.

The Tab 3 Plus of course offers four unique modes, made to be as flexible as you need it to be. Keeping it juiced is a whopping 9,300mAh smart power management battery that offers an impressive 18 hours of battery life. It comes with a 24W fast charger.

Pricing and availability

The Yoga 910 starts at 1,499euro/MYR6,846 include VAT, available starting October 2016. Meanwhile, the Yoga Tab 3 Plus starts at 299euro/MYR1,366 including VAT, available starting November 2016.
