Zomato and Uber tie-up in Malaysia to connect foodies to favourite restaurants

Zomato Uber

Zomato and Uber have announced a partnership that will help Malaysian foodies find and get to their favourite restaurants and nightlife destinations more seamlessly.

The feature has been made available to Zomato users in 30+ cities across 13 countries including India, Australia, Canada, the UK, South Africa, Indonesia, New Zealand, The Philippines, Portugal, Qatar, Turkey, UAE and the US.

The leading restaurant discovery and food ordering app is just 11 weeks old, but it has already spread its wings across Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, Subang, Puchong and Shah Alam. With the Uber partnership, users can easily book rides to hotspots in these areas.

Using the Zomato app, you can discover restaurants easily. The great thing about it is that places are rated by foodies, with useful honest reviews that help you make a decision.

Once you’ve found a place to ‘makan’ or ‘minum’ in the Zomato app, you can tap on the Uber button to find the nearest Uber ride. You’ll be able to see the estimated fare, how long it takes for the Uber to arrive, and also choose between different Uber services.

Zomato and Uber are making eating out more convenient so you spend more time enjoying your dining experience as opposed to worrying about finding parking or a taxi.
