We’re not going to bargain with that offer. Origin, Electronic Arts‘ digital distribution platform is going classic with this month’s free game: Wing Commander 3: Heart of the Tiger.
The Origin Systems classic debuted in 1994 on MS-DOS and Mac (how many floppies was that again?), and featured Hollywood actors Malcolm McDowell and Mark “Skywalker” Hamill.
The space combat title is now free on Windows PC until 2 September 2014, all the way down from its regular price of US$4.99 on Origin.
Origin’s “On the House” program kicked off in late March with a free copy of Dead Space, and has also offer Plants vs Zombies and Battlefield 3 for free, too.
