HP has unveiled several new business tablets at the 2014 Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. First up is the 10-1-inch ProPad 600 targeted for the small business market.

The ProPad 600 sports a 64-bit Intel Atom (“Bay Trail”) (Z3000?) chip, dual 2MP/8MP cameras and a 1920 x 1200p optically bonded display. It also comes with micro-HDMI out, microSD slot and micro-USB port for charging. No pricing has been announced. Availability is expected in mid-April.

Remember the ElitePad 900? HP has refreshed it and now known as the ElitePad 1000. How convenient. While it sports the same design, the internals have been given a beef up with a new 64-bit processor and sharper 1920 x 1200 display, similar to the ProPad 600. It also features 4G LTE and USB 3.0. Battery life is rated at around 10 hours and it fits the same Smart Jackets as its predecessor.

The tablet is expected to arrive in March, at a starting price of US$739.

No mention of operating system, but I presume it runs Windows 8
