Apple has apparently updated the Gold Master version of OS X Mavericks previously sent out to developers. GM builds are usually the final build that goes out for public consumption. OS X Mavericks is expected to be released to public during the Apple Special Event in San Francisco on Tuesday, 22 October, where Apple is anticipated to launch new iPads, Macs and more.

The build number has changed from 13A598 to 13A603. The new update is reported to quash some last minute bugs.

Highly unusual for Apple to do so, but at least we’ll know OS X Mavericks will be tip top when it comes out.

Can’t wait.
