Bioware Responds Positively To Black Ops 2 Disc Mix Up

So, I hear a Mass Effect Trilogy somewhere.......
So, I hear a Mass Effect Trilogy somewhere…….

In regards to the previous post, Bioware has responded in a very delightful and positive manner to the disc mix up problem. The answer, free copies of Mass Effect Trilogy to the “affected”.

According to Bioware’s blog, they were aware of the “rumor” and they think it as an omen. Wait, how is the mistake an omen? This is their response:

Rumor has it that about a thousand customers who purchased Call of Duty: Black Ops II for PC today were also treated to a surprise copy of Mass Effect 2. If you were one of the affected, chances are you thought it was a mistake, but we prefer to think that it was an omen, and when the universe talks, you should listen.

If the universe thinks that you should be playing Mass Effect right now, who are we to argue? In fact, we want to help! The first fifty fans affected by this phenomenon to send us a picture holding their special disc 2 will receive a code for a FREE PC copy of Mass Effect Trilogy.

So, how do you get the FREE copy? Well here is what they have directed to do:

Remember, in order to qualify, YOU must be in the picture, and disc 2 of your Call of Duty: Black Ops II must be visible. Got it? Then send your photo to [email protected] and you could be playing your very own Mass Effect Trilogy in time for the weekend!

This issue was clearly due to an “error at the disc manufacturer” and Activision has not posted an explanation on the issue nor ways on how to solve the disc 2 installation to those affected as of now. Furthermore, EA and Activision do not see eye to eye in this competitive industry but this response really makes things pretty surprising for the gaming community.

So to those who are affected, rejoice! You’ve just got gifted two games for the price of one, and furthermore a trilogy. That’s a really darn good solution if you ask me.

P/S: OMG, a Mass Effect Trilogy? Now this makes me want to be “affected” by the disc 2 problem. Darn it! – Moses
