Facebook Ad talks about “Chairs”?

Facebook recently launched a very strange ad about itself. The focus was on “chairs”. Yes, the ones we use to sit on.

The ninety seconds video was directed by Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu best known for his direction of the movie “Babel”. Facebook was referred to as a doorbell, an airplane, and made references to other items which were at times strange, even by association. That is how you’d feel if you didn’t get what the video was implying, it’s definitely much deeper than that “chair” it refers to.  It’s worth your 90 seconds, so go ahead and watch it.

Currently, the ad is running on Facebook’s fan page and youtube channel but this ad will likely be broadcasted on TV in the future.
