“If I Could Fly” with “Viva La Vida” - Coldplay jams with Satriani

A couple of stolen riffs? That’s what guitar god Joe Satriani thinks Chris Martin’s Coldplay has done with chart-topping hit “Viva La Vida”. Satriani alleges copyright infringement of his track “If I Could Fly”. A hardworking YouTube contributor creatively merged the two songs to give you a play-by-play. What do you think? Does Satriani have a case? Or is it just one of those coincidental things that often happen in the music industry? You decide.
Personally, the riff sounds similar, but doubt it was deliberately ’stolen’ in any way.
