We’re a day away from the global launch of the Huawei Mate 10 in Munich, but that hasn’t stopped a retailer leaking details of the local pre-order.

As revealed by Technave (original page removed, thanks Google cache), the Malaysian pre-order will run from 19-22 October 2017. The much-awaited flagship will most likely be available in retail channels a week after.

Customers who pre-order are entitled to free gifts worth up to MYR999, that comprises a VIP member card, Huawei selfie stick and Huawei body scale.

No pricing details were revealed.

Earlier, in a separate leak, it is speculated that there may be as many as four Mate 10 variants: standard Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro, Mate 10 Lite and Mate 10 Porsche Edition.

A tipster from China via Weibo has revealed that the Huawei Mate 10 (4GB RAM + 64GB storage) will be priced at CNY4,299 (MYR2,744); the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model will retail at CNY4,899 (MYR3,127); while a 6GB RAM + 256GB option will top CNY5,599 / MYR3,573.

Meanwhile, the Mate 10 Pro with 6GB RAM + 64GB storage will start at CNY5,499/ MYR3,510; the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant goes for CNY6,199 / MYR3,956; and the top rung 6GB RAM + 256GB storage option will retail at CNY6,899 / MYR4,403.

The limited edition Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Edition in the meantime, rocking 8GB RAM + 256GB storage will cost a whopping CNY7,499 / MYR4,786.

The new Mate 10 boasts an 18:9 FullView display, and will feature and all new design, as well as Leica SUMMILUX-H f/1.6 aperture lens.

The Mate 10 purportedly features IP67 dust- and water-resistance, as well as run the latest Kirin 970 chipset.
