After redefining the industry with Video-Onz – its unlimited video streaming feature, U Mobile is introducing yet another golden nugget – Music-Onz. This brings unlimited music streaming to its postpaid and prepaid customers. Sounds good doesn’t it?
If you’re a music enthusiast, or a compulsive streamer, then Music-Onz will be music to your ears. At the point of introduction, Music-Onz supports 12 platforms that includes Spotify, JOOX, Tidal, KKBOX and eight local radio stations–BFM, Hitz.fm, FlyFM just to name a few. Subscription to these services may apply (separately).
What exactly does unlimited streaming mean? Just like Video-Onz, Music-Onz will let you stream music from your favourite music platforms without using up your internet data. Think of it as a separate data bucket for your audio needs.
For postpaid customers, Music-Onz is enabled automatically. You’ll be able to see this listed within your account in the MyUMobile app. Note that Music-Onz is available only to principal account holders and not supplementary lines.
If you’re a prepaid customer, you’ll get Music-Onz when you buy a UMI or MB data package. You can subscribe to UMI/MB by dialing *118#. Note that this is not valid with MB2 package.
Music-Onz is offered on a promotional basis, and officially kicks of today, 25 November 2016. No end-date has been stated for this promo.
