Apple iPhone 7 set for 7 September reveal

Apple iPhone 7 launch invite

It’s official. Apple has just sent out media invites to its big product reveal set for 7 September. Labeled “See you on the 7th” the much-anticipated event will take place at 10AM Pacific Time, in the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco. The iPhone 7 is a sure bet at the event, the question would be how may variants and what else?
Based on rumours and leaks, the new iPhone isn’t expected to look significantly different from the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. Naturally, it will include incremental updates to hardware – faster processor, more RAM, better cameras and apparently no conventional headphone jack.

The new iPhone is said to have better water resistance and a ‘Pro’ version will integrate a dual-camera setup like the Huawei P9 and new honor 8.

What I’d personally like to see is bigger base storage and dual-SIM support, but having said that, one can always hope.

In addition to new iPhone hardware, expect Apple to bring updates on macOS Sierra, iOS 10, watchOS 3 and tvOS 10.

Will the much-loved tech giant also bring updates to other hardware i.e. Apple Watch, MacBooks or Apple TV? We’ll have to see won’t we?

See you on the 7th.
