Eat your heart out Microsoft Surface, here’s the ASUS Transformer 3 series

ASUS Transformer 3

Hot on the heels of Acer’s delicious Switch Alpha 12, is another Microsoft Surface competitor – the ASUS Transformer 3 series. Just revealed at its Zenvolution media event at Computex Taiwan 2016 today, the new 2-in-1 series sports 7th Generation Intel Core processors and a Surface-like design.

The Transformer 3 looks stunning, if familiar, all the way down to the Surface’s much-loved kickstand at the rear.

There are two variants – Transformer 3 and Transformer 3 Pro – both packing a 12.6-inch display, USB Type-C, Thunderbolt 3, a fingerprint scanner, HDMI and USB 3.0 ports.
