The Doogee T6 smartphone is a real ‘Battery Monster’ with a whopping 6,250mAh battery

Doogee T6

Today, Doogee Malaysia rolled out a handful of mobile devices to the Malaysian market. First up was of course the flagship F7 Pro, its most premium smartphone yet. A surprise though is the Doogee T6, a mid-range smartphone endowed with a huge 6,250mAh battery.

Love you looooong time

The battery is good for 40 hours of talktime, or 68 hours of music play, or 3 days of general use. With a 39-day standby time, the T6 really can’t be beat on battery life.

Doogee’s T series is described as the ‘talented’ product line. And it’s pretty obvious where the T6’s talent lies.

Looks-wise, the T6 is pleasant, with some interesting texture treatment on its frame and back cover. It seems solidly built Because of the humongous battery, it does weigh quite a bit and its thickness is quite obvious (9.9mm thick). The only consolation is that you wouldn’t need to lug a powerbank with you anymore.

Up front it gets a 5.5-inch HD IPS OGS display. Underneath, it sports a quad-core MediaTek MTK6735 processor mated to a Mali-T720 GPU. This common chip combo is coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage.

In terms of optics, it has a 8MP autofocus rear camera with dual LED flash, while the front features 2MP selfie shooter.

It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box, and is available in Marble White and Titanium Grey.

It comes with a 9V 2A fast charger that features multiple protection, to ensure super fast but safe charging. Doogee says charging the T6 for just 15 minutes will give you a standby time of 8 hours.

Last but not least, the T6 supports OTG and can be used to charge other devices via its micro-USB port.
