[CES 2016] Acer H7 series is world’s first monitor with USB Type-C

Things are about to get crystal clear and superfast with Acer’s latest H7 monitor lineup, just revealed at CES 2016 (Consumer Electronics Show) at Las Vegas. The new monitor features a premium design backed by high-end display performance.

The Acer H7 series is the world’s first to support USB Type-C. This allows you to swiftly transfer data and display content from devices while charging them, conveniently through one cable.

The monitor series comes in 25-inch and 27-inch options, housed in a premium ZeroFrame design with a diamond-cut and brushed-metal stand.

And the monitors don’t just look good on the outside. They boast WQHD (2,560×1,440p) display resolution and outstanding audio with Acer TrueHarmony with DTS Sound.

In terms of connectivity and expansion, it comes with the aforementioned USB Type-C and HDMI 2.0 ports.

You’ll love that the H7 series supports 100% of the sRGB colour gamut, thus delivering a wide colour space desired by design professionals and visual enthusiasts.

Pricing and availability

The new monitors will be gradually rolled out according to regions. Pricing will be announced soon.

Acer also revealed the Acer R1 series—the world’s thinnest monitor.
