360-degree video is rapidly becoming more popular with official support from video platforms like YouTube. Brought to the mainstream by gadgets like the Oculus Rift and Samsung’s Gear VR, 360 video offers a more interactive and immersive audio visual experience. This Maxis Dinner in the Sky 360 Video is the first of its kind in the world, featuring the real life event of Ng Say Khai, a MaxisONE Club customer. Check out the video after the break.

If you’ve never heard about it, Dinner in the Sky is a breathtaking new dining concept that offers bespoke event experiences in over 45 countries worldwide. There’s nothing quite like wining and dining while floating hundreds of metres in the air. Warning: not for the faint-hearted (I’m scared of heights).

Maxis recently captured a heartwarming event where Ng Say Khai, a MaxisONE Club customer, proposed to his girlfriend. Captured in 360-degree video, you’ll be able to see the magnificent 360 view including all the guests’ expressions, the chef and 5-starred meal served.

“It’s simply amazing that with 360 degree video technology we get to experience the wonderful moments all over again as if we are there ourselves, and it’s more realistic and vivid than photographs and videos can ever be.” –Ng Say Khai, MOC Member
