Acer’s full 2015 line-up is all set for Windows 10

Acer has announced that its full 2015 product line-up currently shipping with Windows 7 and Windows 8.1, will support the free Windows 10 upgrade when it becomes available 29 July 2015.

Acer’s diverse range of products – from Windows 10 devices to Windows integrated wearable, Acer will be delivering one Windows 10 experience across platforms.

The Taiwanese PC giant has also obtained Skype for Business certification across its consumer and commercial notebook lines. Acer’s notebooks with Acer Purified Voice technolgy has been proven in laboratory testing to improve speech accuracy scores up to 1.5x with vacuum cleaner ambient noise, compared to models without Skype certification.

Windows 10 promises a unified approach in terms of look-and-feel and user experience, and Acer has made sure its hardware will drive this consistency throughout its products.

Acer has widely implemented Precision Touchpads (PTP) on both its consumer and commercial notebook, ensuring a unified Windows user experience across touchpad and touchscreen.

Higher resolution hardware and built-in palm rejection deliver better accuracy, right out of the box.

Maarten Schellekens, Acer’s vice president of global marketing and branding said Acer is confident that customers who buy or plan to buy an Acer Windows PC in 2015 will experience a smooth transition to Windows 10.

Windows 10 is set to be officially unveiled on 29 July 2015, with satellite launches in 13 major cities around the world including Sydney, Tokyo, Beijing, New Delhi, Dubai, Nairobi, Berlin, Johannesburg, Madrid, New York, London, Sao Paolo and Singapore.
