3,000 units of Honor 4X sold out in 8 minutes on 1 April

Honor 4X

Huawei has announced that the first batch of 3,000 units of Honor 4X were sold out within 8 minutes after it kicked off pre-orders at 3.08PM on 1 April 2015. Call it an April Fool’s present, but that’s mighty impressive. Available exclusively via Huawei’s official online store — Vmall.my, the Honor 4X retails at RM619.00 (inclusive of GST).

The 5.5-inch device is feature-packed, boasting a 64-bit octa-core Kirin620 chipset, 2GB RAM, 13MP BSI rear camera and 5MP front camera, dual-LTE and a large 3000mAh battery. All in an incredible 7.9mm thin form factor.

Due to the overwhelming response, Huawei is allocating a second batch of pre-orders that will be made available on 8 April 2015, from 4.08PM onwards. Again, it will only be available via Vmall.my. The device is available in black or white.

Pre-orders will be shipped out to customers after 18 April.

The Honor series has bit a hit with consumers, thanks to its high specifications and affordable prices. These include the Honor 3C, Honor 6, Honor 3C Lite and now Honor 4X. It is widely expected that the Honor 6 Plus will hit Malaysian shores soon, too. Stay tuned.
