Lenovo unleashed the latest generation ThinkPad X1 Carbon at CES 2015, the world’s lightest 14-inch performance ultrabook targeted at business and enterprise. The show stopper brings enhancements and improvements over the previous generation including 5th generation Intel Core processors (“Broadwell”), super bright FHD and PCIe solid state drive. The iconic ThinkPad brand celebrates 100 million units shipped in a rich history that spans 22 years.

The best gets better

The third generation X1 Carbon is the lightest 14-inch performance ultrabook in the world. Powered by the latest 5th generation Core i7 processors, a new FHD display and added PCIe solid state drive that delivers 80% faster storage performance over standard SSDs.

The X1 Carbon retains its highly durable and rugged carbon-forged chassis, weighing at under 1.3kg. After listening to customer feedback, the new X1 Carbon brings back TrackPoint function buttons. A whole new suite of accessories also complement the new hero product.

Celebrating the 100 millionth

To celebrate the 100 millionth unit of ThinkPad, one unit of ThinkPad X1 Carbon as picked out from the production line. Called ‘Eve’, the special ThinkPad represents a phenomenal journey for the iconic brand that has spanned an amazing 22 years. Congratulations, Lenovo.

Models of the ThinkPad X250 start at $1,149 (RM4,100) and will be available from February 2015.
The ThinkVision X24 starts at $249 (RM888) and will be available from April 2015.

Speaker at $89.99 (RM320), ThinkPad Stack 10,000 mAh Power Bank at $49.99 (RM178), ThinkPad Wireless Access
