Samsung, as usual, has its separate UNPACKED event at IFA, where it is expected to unveil its latest phablet – the GALAXY Note 4.

It was at IFA 2011 where Samsung launched its first ever GALAXY Note (GT-N7000), creating a whole new market sub-segment in the mobile market.

The fourth generation Note is expected to pack a 5.7-inch 2K display, a retina scanner (rumoured) and heart-rate sensor and will come in a new metal frame. It is expected to sport a new Snapdragon 805 chip. From leaked images, it does look really good.

Samsung is really touting its handwriting capabilities, as shown in the two preview videos the Korean giant has released recently.

In addition to the Note 4, Samsung is set to unveil the Gear S (aka ‘Solo) smartwatch which for the first time with wearables, will incorporate a SIM slot. Rumours are swirling about another Samsung smartwatch though, a round-faced smartwatch which will beat Motorola Moto 360 to the gate if it debuts at IFA.

Well, stay tuned, folks.
