Samsung is the Worldwide Olympic Partner in the Wireless Communications Equipment category for the Nanjing 2014 Youth Olympic Games.

In conjunction with the sponsorship, the Korean electronics giant has launched a huge marketing campaign themed “Live the Beats, Love the Games,” representing its extended commitment to the Olympic Movement and its continued efforts to enhance the games experience through smartphone technology.

The campaign is specially tailored to engage today’s youth – to enjoy sports and music anytime, anywhere, leveraging on the features of the new flagship GALAXY S5.

In the lead up to the games proper in Nanjing, a plethora of activities have been planned to spread the Youth Olympic spirit to fans worldwide.

Musical performers with popular artists have already kicked off in July. Samsung Mobilers will embark on their journey to five cities throughout China, armed with GALAXY S5 phones to document and share their journey.

Samsung will also collaborate with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) on the Young Ambassadors and Young Reporters Program to equip them with GALAXY devices for communication with young athletes during the games.

Samsung has been involved in the Olympic Games since Seoul 1988. Its commitment as a Worldwide Olympic Partner continues through to Rio 2016.
