Dell today launched a beastly buffet of notebooks and All-in-One (AIO) desktops in Malaysia, starting with the latest Inspiron 14 and 15 3000 Series notebooks, Inspiron 14 and 15 5000 Series notebooks and Inspiron 20 3000 Series and 23 5000 Series AIO desktops.

The new collection of Dell notebooks and desktops are made to suit different consumer lifestyles and budgets and include the latest 4th generation Intel Core “Haswell” processors, high capacity hard drives and multitouch displays.

KT Ong, general manager, Consumer and Commercial Business, Dell Malaysia said in his opening keynote, “Students and parents alike want technology that helps them to be successful in their personal and educational pursuits,” he continued, “Our new Inspiron notebooks and AIOs are a smart investment for families, providing the latest technology for productivity and entertainment in thin, space-saving designs.”

According to Sameer Tupaki, head of marketing, Intel Malaysia and Singapore, there are currently more than 2.7 million owners of PCs over 4 years of age. Intel launched the 2014 PC Refresh campaign together with major hardware partners including Dell, recently.

He said, “2014 is going to be an exciting year for consumers seeking to upgrade their devices. In fact, we are even more excited at the fact that the Dell Inspiron 3000 Series and Dell Inspiron 5000 Series launched here today will be offered as part of Intel Malaysia’s PC refresh campaign.”

Dell Inspiron 3000 Series

The new Inspiron 14 and 15 3000 Series come in a variety of hardware configurations including Intel Celeron and Core i processors, built-in DVD drives, up to 1TB of storage and optional touch panels. The 3000 Series of notebooks are also backed by long-lasting battery (up to 7 hours).

The new Inspiron 14 and 15 5000 Series notebooks are packed with high-end options such as backlit keyboard and Full HD touch display (15-inch only).

The new notebooks feature an attractive, brushed aluminum lid and 10-finger multitouch display option.

4th generation Intel Core i processors power the new line of notebooks, bringing long-lasting battery life of up to 8 hours coupled with ear-pleasing Waves MaxxAudio as standard.

20GB of Dropbox cloud storage is also included as standard.

Dell Inspiron 20 and 23: All in everything

Thinner and more powerful than ever, the new Inspiron 20 3000 Series and 23 5000 Series AIO desktops feature the latest 4th generation Intel Core i processors and Full HD displays with edge-to-edge glass, supporting 10-finger capacitive touch.

Waves MaxxAudio for a richer audio experience is included as standard, as with free 20GB Dropbox cloud storage.

What’s to come

Dell also previewed the upcoming XPS 13 7000 Series 2-in-1 ultrabook, that was introduced at Computex 2014 a week ago. The innovative multi-mode device will be priced from RM1,499 and is expected to hit Malaysian shores in mid July.
