The delicious Sony A6000, the highest end model in Sony’s compact system camera lineup, is now available for pre-order in Malaysia. Jam packed with the latest and greatest technology from Sony, the A6000 features the 24.3MP Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor and the 0.06 world fastest autofocus. Prices start from RM2,399 (for body only). The A6000 now joins the A3000 and A5000 in the growing Sony mirrorless camera family.

The exclusive pre-order period runs from 31 March – 15 April 2014. Sony is also throwing in some goodies for pre-order customers, namely a 16GB SDHC memory card, tripod, 2x free paid apps and exclusive Sony premiums.

The A6000 offers incredible detail and color reproduction, as expected from the Alpha range of cameras. The newly developed 24.3MP Exmor APS HD sensor has higher resolution than most DSLRs and adopts the same gapless on-chip lens structure as the brilliant A7R.

It’s claim to fame? The astonishing 0.06 world fastest autofocus with 179-point phase-detection AF sensor. The A6000 captures an astonishing 11fps continuous shooting with continuous shooting.

Another huge plus is the 1440K-dot OLED True-Finder EVF which delivers 100% frame coverage with an approximately 33-degree viewing angle.

Being top-of-the-line, the A6000 includes Wi-Fi, NFC and Play Memories camera apps as standard.
