Samsung GALAXY Note 3 1
Hi Lulu!

Samsung Note 3
Samsung has come far as a smartphone vendor, quickly becoming the de facto in Android smart devices. The Samsung GALAXY Note was an experiment that proved to be a surprise hit for the Korean brand. What was originally meant to be a niche market product, instead became a mass market best-seller. Not only did Samsung spearhead the ‘phablet’ category, it also made the digital stylus cool again.

Its follow-up GALAXY Note 2 continued the success of its predecessor, breaking sales records, and also spurred copycats in the phablet category.

The GALAXY Note 3 is a more polished, better-built successor – and in my opinion the true flagship that beats the likes of the GALAXY S4. It’s quick, fluid, live-wire and solidly built.

The S Pen stylus is much improved, also with the refined suite of S Pen-optimised apps.

While I feel Samsung can do without the gimmickry like AirView and its plethora of ‘Smart’ features, I give credit where credit is due. At least they are not afraid to take risks and try new things.

TouchWIZ does feel dated and indescribably bloated, and I do hope Samsung completely reworks the ageing UI layer for the coming months and years.

The GALAXY Note 3 is undoubtedly the best Note ever, and the best Samsung mobile phone to date.
