Carl Johnson is coming to Windows Phone 8. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, the biggest selling game of a generation, has been remastered for the mobile screen and now optimised for your touchy feely pleasures.

The story is set in 1992 in the fictitious state of San Andreas, the playground for Carl “C.J.” Johnson. Five years back, C.J escaped police corruption, drugs and gang life and now is called to return when his mother is murdered.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for WP8 brings new high-res graphics, enriched colour palette and improved character models. Controls have also been redesigned for mobile phones. On-screen dual touch analogue sticks controls most movement in the game.

Unnecessary, complex action controls have been removed to make game play more suited for mobile devices.

Rockstar Games has also implemented new shorter checkpoints for easier game progression.

Aimed at a mature audience (NSFW?), Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas can be downloaded today from the Windows Store for US$6.99 (RM21.49). Or scan the barcode below.
