Samsung has announced the launch of the new GALAXY S4 zoom LTE edition, now available in Europe. The point-and-shoot camera and smartphone hybrid now promises even faster connectivity now with 4G LTE capabilities.

The GALAXY S4 zoom combines an impressive 10x Optical Zoom with 16MP BSI CMOS sensor, Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and Xenon flash. Central to its photographic capabilities is the revolutionary Zoom Ring, a simple way to access all the device’s features via an intuitive control system.

Like other GALAXY devices, the new hybrid device also features Samsung’s popular Smart Mode that lets users choose a series of pre-set modes to capture the best possible photo. The GALAXY S4 zoom is packed with entertainment features including the new Samsung Hub, and because it runs Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), consumers also have access to the millions of apps to expand its capabilities.  Samsung has naturally thrown in its host of apps and services including Story Album, Samsung Link and Home Sync.

The Samsung GALAXY S4 zoom LTE will be available on a variety of networks including Deutsche Telekom, Tele2, Telia Sonera and Orange. No announcements on Malaysian availability yet. The non-LTE version was launched in Malaysia in June 2013.
