As demands for bigger, better smartphones and more data increase, telcos are watching, improving, adapting to current trends. In view of shifting mobile trends towards more data-centric usage, U Mobile has announced a new mobile postpaid plan – Ultimate Device Plan.
The new plan offers one of the largest data allocations for devices, with low device rates and lower upfront payment.
For heavy data users, U Mobile offers the Ultimate Device 158 plan which gives users 5GB of unlimited mobile internet, 200 minutes of free calls, and 200 free SMS to all networks. In addition, users also get a special rebate of RM38, and therefore only need to pay RM120 monthly during the contract period of 24 months.
For mobile chat freaks who live in the world of WhatsApp, LINE, KakaoTalk and WeChat, then the Ultimate Device 98 plan would be perfect. The plan offers 4GB of unlimited mobile internet, 100 minutes of free calls to all networks. For the contractual period of 24 months, subscribers only need to pay RM78 with the rebate of RM20.
For light users, U Mobile has the Ultimate Device 68 plan where subscribers enjoy 3GB of unlimited mobile internet, and 60 minutes of free calls to all networks. With a RM10 monthly rebate, users only need to pay RM58 for the contracted 24 months period. Affordability redefined.
To complement the new plans, U Mobile is rolling out two smartphone devices – the brand new Samsung GALAXY Mega (look out for our review of this device soon) and the HTC Desire 600; both mid-range smartphones that are feature-packed, but light on the wallet.
The Samsung GALAXY Mega is Samsung’s new mid-range phablet packing a 6.3-inch display and 1.7Ghz dual-core processor. Take this home for only RM488 with the Ultimate Device 158 plan.
The HTC Desire 600 is a dual-SIM Android device that sports a 1.2Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor and a 4.5-inch display. Own the HTC Desire 600 from as low as RM188 with the Ultimate Device 158 plan.
