World Cyber Games 2012: Malaysia

World Cyber Games 2012, the epic event for gamers in Malaysia, this time with the WCG Asian Championships tagging along. Held at Kuala Lumpur Convention Center (KLCC) from 7th – 8th September 2012, the event brought gamers a whole new load of  games for them to compete in.

This years line up of games include promotional titles such, Counter Strike Online, Counter Strike Global Offense (GO), and World of Tanks. Official titles DOTA 2, FIFA 2012, Tekken 6 and Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty were also part of the competition.

There were also lots of booths setup by companies related to the gaming industry, such as Online e-Club, Wargaming.net, SMM, Razer and many more. The booths showcased their  products for the gamers and public to try out. Samsung was also present to show off their products.

However, this year it has an added twist. The WCG Asian Championships was held here for the first time, where the winners for FIFA 2012, Tekken 6,  and DOTA 2, automatically get to represent Malaysia and play with the big boys of Asia. Countries such as Thailand, China, India, Indonesia, and South Korea were present to give the Malaysian gamers a challenge.
