Last year’s runaway winner the Samsung GALAXY SII sold over 20 million units worldwide and their current flagship, the GALAXY SIII is expected to sell over 40 million units this year (it will be hitting 10 million units in July, as anticipated by Samsung).
The fast-growing platform gets a huge performance boost as well as other tweaks and enhancements with the release of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The Jelly Bean update will be available as an OTA update to the GALAXY Nexus and Nexus S smartphone and Motorola Xoom tablet in mid-July. Updates for other devices and manufacturers will come soon after.

Google also revealed the much-talked about GALAXY Nexus 7 tablet, its NFC-enabled Nexus Q media player and Google Glass. Google also released a slew of updates to its Google+, YouTube and Google Play service and apps.
