Maxis is set to officially launch the BlackBerry PlayBook at a special media launch event later today. As reported several weeks back, the official consumer launch will be held on 16 July 2011 at the KL Convention Center. The much-anticipated QNX-powered tablet will retail for RM1,599 RRP (sans plan) for the entry level 16GB model, and up to RM2,199 for the 64GB option.
