HP Ink Advantage System Media Launch 2011

HP launched a new ultra low-cost printing solution yesterday, targeted at home and SOHO users called Ink Advantage System. The new printing solution offers incredible savings. With ink catridges that can print up to 600 pages at RM27, that into a very affordable cost-per-page of only 4.5 sen.

“Today’s announcement furthers HP’s leadership and commitment in offering our customers greater choice and quality and reliable printing at affordable prices,” said Bernard Chiang, Country General Manager, Imaging and Printing Group, HP Malaysia. “Home and small office customers can significantly reduce their printing costs when they choose HP Ink Advantage solutions.”

Two printers were introduced – HP Deskjet Ink Advantage All-in-One Printer K209a and HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2060 All-in-One.

The HP Deskjet Ink Advantage All-in-One Printer K209a is available for just RM319, with printing speeds of up to 29 pages per minute (ppm) in black and 23ppm in color.

HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2060 All-in-One which is available at RM249 is a compact, all-in-one printer which prints, scans and copies. Expect printouts in as fast as 20 seconds in draft mode.

The high-capacity HP 703 Black and Tri-Color Deskjet Ink Advantage cartridges used in the K209a can print up to 600 pages in black and 250 pages in color. On the other hand, the HP 704 cartridge used in the 2060 AIO can print up to 480 pages in black and 200 pages in color. Impressive. The cartridges are also environmental friendly, being made up of 70% recycled plastic.
