CDMA iPhone Coming to Verizon on January 11?

According to the Wall Street Journal, Verizon is expected to reveal a CDMA iPhone 4 running on its network at a special event to be held at New York City’s Lincoln Center (Frederick P. Rose Hall) on Tuesday, January 11, 2011.

The Verizon iPhone has been long awaited and will offer an alternative to AT&T, the exclusive US carrier for the iPhone since its launch in 2007.

Although details are sketchy, sources are also expecting Apple CEO Steve Jobs to make an appearance, joining VZW President / COO Lowell McAdam onstage at the event.

The iPhone 4 is reportedly just a CDMA version, and will not run on VZW’s newly launched 4G LTE network. Availability should be end of January.

Million dollar question – will the CDMA iPhone 4 come in white?
