Startup Camp KL 2008 – GEW 2008

It was exciting to be at Startup Camp KL today, although missing the first part of the day. Was certainly fantastic to meet big man Daniel Cerventus (@cerventus) and also fellow Twitterers – Arzumy (@arzumy) and Evelyn (@missyblurkit) again. First keynote I attended was “Social Change: Leading Tribes and Creating Infectious Action” by Kal Joffres, Partner, Tandem Consulting Group. Insight into creating and spreading viral ideas. Next up came “7 Deadly Sins of An Entrepreneur” by Dr Sivapalan of TeAM which was incredibly informative and entertaining. Possibly one of the best keynotes I’ve heard in a while.

Startup Camp KL runs from 22-23 November 2008 at the Plug & Play Center, Gardens. Startup Camp, a.k.a “The Unconference for the Startup Community”, is an unconference-style event that’s dedicated to bringing together the various members of the startup community for a face-to-face collaborative meetup where its the attendees that drive the agenda (in true unconference fashion).

StartupCampKL is happening in conjunction with the Global Entrepreneurship Week: Malaysia.
